The animal, caught in this unusual trap, prompted a swift response from the Nirbhay Foundation rescue team.

Arriving at the scene, the rescuers were met with a distressing sight, feeling both concern and pity for the trapped animal.

The team’s initial attempts to free the dog by hand proved unsuccessful. Realizing the need for a more drastic solution, they approached the car’s owner.

With the owner’s cooperation, the rescue team carefully used tools to detach the exhaust pipe.

Once freed, the dog, seemingly unfazed by its ordeal, shook itself off and joyfully dashed across the street, its tail wagging.

The team, although unable to provide a full check-up, were relieved to see the dog’s happy escape.

Just as the team finished this unusual rescue, another call came in, this time about a dog injured in a road accident. The frightened and pained animal was quickly assessed by a veterinarian.

The vet confirmed that the dog’s spine was intact, but it had suffered a leg injury. The Nirbhay Foundation team decided to take the injured dog into their care for treatment.

After several days of rest and rehabilitation, the dog began to put weight on its injured leg, indicating a promising recovery.
