“I’m going to have to Milo-proof the whole house” 😅

In most families, humans are the ones who manage the household. But in one Ohio home, a cat named Milo calls all the shots.
Milo is far from the only animal in the house — he reluctantly shares his home with his dog and cat siblings. But no one wields quite as much power as him.
“[He’s a] master manipulator,” Milo’s parents wrote on Instagram.
From the moment he wakes up until his strict 11 p.m. bedtime, Milo is on a mission to have his best day ever. He has a list of typical demands, which includes watching his favorite TV show, SpongeBob SquarePants, and sitting in front of his beloved electric fireplace for hours.
Milo enjoys spending time with his parents, who spoil him in all the ways he expects. But he can’t stand sharing the home with his furry siblings and often does everything he can to get rid of them.
Milo doesn’t have the words to tell his siblings, “Get out.” But it doesn’t matter — he’s learned exactly how to get the message across without saying anything.
“Whenever Milo is annoyed with our dog and wants him to go in his crate, he sits in it, which then lures our dog into the crate,” Milo’s parents wrote on Instagram. “And then Milo quickly exits.”

Milo’s parents have caught him trapping his brother a few times and always rescue Beckham when they see him stuck in the crate. The mischievous cat’s crimes are usually short-lived, but that doesn’t stop him from trying again later.
After pulling his clever prank on Beckham, Milo usually sets his sights on his feline sister, Poppy. Poppy is a sweet and docile cat, which makes her all the more susceptible to Milo’s crimes — like when Milo lured her into a wicker chest and sat on the lid so she wouldn’t get out.

Milo’s parents are diligent about removing potential traps from the home, which they call “Milo-proofing.” But recently, after hearing a strange noise from within a kitchen cabinet, they realized he’d found a new way to prank his siblings.
It all started when Milo’s parents realized Poppy had gone missing without leaving the house. After almost an hour of searching, they found Poppy inside a kitchen cabinet. They were puzzled by how she’d gotten there, but they let her free nonetheless and continued their day.
Less than 24 hours later, they caught Milo sitting by the same cabinet and stayed to watch his next steps. They were shocked by what they discovered.
“I continued to record and noticed he waited for a few minutes by the cabinet, and then Poppy went into it,” Milo’s parents wrote. “He didn’t waste much time and went over and closed it, running away from his crime.”

Moments later, Milo returned to the crime scene and lay in front of the cabinet, enjoying his newfound peace without his sister. Sadly for Milo, his crime was once again short-lived, as his parents rushed to let a bewildered Poppy out.
“I’m going to have to Milo-proof the whole house,” his parents wrote.
After a day filled with satisfying pranks, Milo usually hounds his parents to go to bed at 11 p.m., where he enjoys a night of cuddles before resuming his crime spree the following morning.
It’s hard to know exactly why Milo is so dedicated to a life of crime, but his parents wouldn’t have it any other way. Milo keeps them on their toes and fills the household with joy, one lighthearted prank at a time.
“[It’s] never a dull moment with Milo,” his parents wrote on Instagram.
