Driver Slams On Brakes After Shaggy Head Appears Under Drive-Thru Window

“Poor little baby, he was so hungry” 🥺

Most people are lured into a fast food drive-thru by the promise of a satisfying meal. But Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy 29, recently entered one in search of a dog.

It all started when an unsuspecting McDonald’s customer in Los Angeles, California, noticed a shaggy white head poking out from beneath the drive-thru window. As they got closer, they realized a small, shut-down pup was taking shelter beneath the window.

The customer asked around about the dog and quickly learned he’d been there for multiple days. Sadly, no one had come looking for him.

“He was seen for two days waiting at a McDonald’s drive-thru, hoping people would order him food,” Hall wrote on Facebook. “Poor little baby, he was so hungry.”

You can see him waiting in the drive-thru here:

Without skipping a beat, the customer called Logan’s Legacy 29 for help, and Hall’s trusted volunteer, Mary Nakiso, raced over. When she got there, the pup was too scared to let her get close — but she soon acquired a treat he couldn’t resist.

“Thankfully, Mary Nakiso was able to get him with a hamburger,” Hall wrote. “[It’s] so heart-wrenching to see him beg for food at a drive-thru.”

As devastating as the situation was, Nakiso and Hall were relieved that the pup, whom they named Mc-D, was finally safe with them. Hall eventually arrived and loaded Mc-D into her van before driving him straight to the vet clinic.

While driving to the clinic, Mc-D became overwhelmed with happiness.

“[H]e literally was wagging his tail so much,” Hall wrote. “He felt safe, and the air conditioning felt so good.”

You can watch that moment here:

Mc-D was elated to be rescued, and his happiness only grew once he got to the clinic and received a much-needed bath. Finally free of the fleas and ticks that covered his body, Mc-D settled into his kennel that night and fell to sleep with a smile on his face.

It’s been a few days since Mc-D’s rescue, and he’s still looking for a forever home. He’s currently thriving in foster care, but he hopes to find the family of his dreams soon.

Hall is working tirelessly to make Mc-D’s biggest dream come true. Until then, she’s happy to know that he no longer has to sleep under a drive-thru window while he waits.

“This sweet baby boy is rescued,” Hall wrote. “And he is going to be [loving] life.”

You can inquire about adopting Mc-D here.

Watch The Moment Anxious Rottweiler Calms Down After Receiving A Special Toy

“He was very sweet with this one” 🥹

By Ashley Ortiz

Meet Dyce: a 4-year-old Rottweiler whose severe anxiety made daily activities difficult — until he came across a new plush friend that calmed him like no other.

As a puppy, Dyce struggled with doing things outside his home, like walking around the neighborhood. Despite having his adoring mom, Anouk, and dad by his side, Dyce couldn’t walk without being hypervigilant and defensive.

“He was very anxious, and that turned [into] reactivity,” Anouk told The Dodo.
